About me
Education
My name is Dorottya Baross, I am a psychologist and Japanese teacher.
For 7 years, I taught Japanese language and psychology at the Alternative Secondary School of Economics, and during that time I also worked as a school psychologist.
I majored in social psychology, my main research topics are about the prejudice against social groups. Previously, I was an intern at the TÁRKI "Lendület" RECENS Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. I participated in Tamás Keller's Peer Research, which aimed to explore the driving forces of educational inequalities. My current research topic is school abuse/cyberbullying, which I am investigating in Japanese anime subculture.
In my freetime, I love translating Japanese short stories and youth literature, and I am also fascinated by fairy tales, to which I attribute great importance both in psychology and everyday life.
